<description>In a world dominated by social media, we now have more control than ever of how others perceive us. The ability for others to access our "personal" information has undoubtedly turned us all into Internet stalkers whether we acknowledge it or not. This exploitation and consumption of ourselves has allowed us to attain new standards of perfection, or in other words, we have become “self-made” or “D-I-Y” celebrities. Thoughts From Myesha, December 2012 explores this idea by taking personal facebook updates out of its context and into a musical and poetic framework. In our digital realities everyone is a celebrity, even Myesha.

<description>In reaction to the transparency of the internet, Timo ter Braak and I created "The Internet Rulebook." Modeled after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it aims to bring order to our digital reality. But like most things that exist online, it will be met with opposition. This project was an examination of different forms of digital and analog protest.

<description>With the advent of digital tools it seems to be almost impossible to tell the difference between a "real" image and a "fake" one. More importantly, does it even matter? Half of these paint blobs were photographed and taken straight from the camera without editing. The other half were recreated using only digital tools. By thinking about these images as "specimens" I was able to take a step back and see how these objects differentiated themselves from one another just by their proximity.
